HHSRS

The Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) is a risk-based evaluation tool used by local authorities in England and Wales to assess potential hazards in residential properties. The system was introduced under the Housing Act 2004 and is overseen by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG). Guidance and legislative updates are published on legislation.gov.uk. Watchdog HQ monitors changes to HHSRS weekly.
